Moving machinery and electrical power hazards. May cause severe personal injury or death.
Disconnect from main power supply before servicing equipment.
The unit is designed to give long life operation with minimum maintenance required. However, it should
be regularly checked and the following items should be given due attention.
Components Maintenance Procedures Recommended Schedule
Air Filter
(Indoor Unit)
1. Remove any dust adhering to the lter by using a
vacuum cleaner or wash in lukewarm water (below
40˚C) with a neutral cleaning detergent.
2. Rinse the lter well and dry before placing it back onto
the unit.
3. Note: Never use gasoline, volatile substances or
chemicals to clean the lter.
At least once every 4 weeks.
More frequently if necessary.
Indoor Unit 1. Clean any dirt or dust on the grille or panel by wiping
it with a soft cloth soaked in lukewarm water (below
40˚C) and a neutral detergent solution.
2. Note: Never use gasoline, volatile substances or
chemicals to clean the indoor unit.
At least once every 4 weeks.
More frequently if necessary.
Condense Drain
Pan & Pipe
1. Check the cleanliness and clean it if necessary.
Every 3 months.
Indoor Fan Check if there is any abnormal noise.
When necessary.
Indoor Coil 1. Check and remove the dirt between the ns.
2. Check and remove any obstacles which hinder air
owing into and out of the indoor unit.
Every month.
Power Supply 1. Check the voltage and current of the indoor unit.
2. Check the electrical wiring for any faulty contacts
caused by loose connections, foreign matters, etc.
Tighten the wires onto the terminal block if
necessary.
Every 2 months.
Fan Motor Oil All motors are pre-lubricated and sealed at factory.
No maintenance required.
Do not charge OXYGEN, ACETYLENE OR OTHER FLAMMABLE and poisonous gases into the unit when
performing a leakage test or an air tight test. These gases could cause severe explosion and damage if
expose to high temperature and pressure.
