Tubular electric motors of
AM1/RS series
1. GENERAL DATA AND DESCRIPTION
Tubular electric motors of AM1/RS series are designed for automation of roller shutter systems (roller shutters).
These electric motors provide ample opportunities for remote control of roller shutter systems using radio remote
controls, timers, wired key lock switches and other ALUTECH automation devices. The integrated intelligent system allows
to automatically adjust the end positions of a roller shutter and identify obstacles, which facilitates the adjustment of the
electric motor and provides additional safety for roller shutter systems.
Tubular electric motor of AM1/RS series comprises an induction condenser motor with thermal protection, a brake, a gear
box, a control unit with an in-built radio receiver and electronic limit switches. Installed into octagonal roll tubes.
2. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
It is advised to select the optimal model of an electric motor of AM1/RS series with the required torque depending on the
weight of the roller shutter curtain and according to the requirements of ALUTECH instructions and recommendations. If
necessary, contact the Supplier’s customer service for advice.
These technical characteristics are applied to the ambient temperature of 20°С (±5°С) and supply voltage of
230V/50Hz.
