7.4 Disposal
The units consist essentially of the following components and materials.
The electronic components can contain dangerous materials.
In normal use the various components do not represent a danger to humans or environment.
In event of fire dangerous materials may be released.
The electrical components should not be opened since, for the purpose of internal insulation, (e.g. on
various power semi-conductor) beryllium oxide has been used. The beryllium dust caused by opening
represents a health hazard.
The disposal of the units should conform to the recycling regulations of the country and region in which
they are disposed.
Components Material
Housing Sheet-steel, aluminium
Various distance bolts, current converter hausing and fan
housing, etc.
Plastic
Conductor plates, accommodating the complete control and
regulation electronic
Base material: EPOXY resin (filled with GRP).
Copperplated on both sides and with intercon

nected channels. Various electronic compo-
nents such as capacitors, resistors, relays and
semi-conductor components, etc.
