Brew strength selection
Gourmet strength coffee.
The gourmet setting adjusts the brewing cycle of a full pot of coffee to extract a higher percent of soluble. This
results in a more avorful pot of coffee.
Bold strength coffee
The Bold setting adjusts the brewing cycle of a full pot of coffee, allowing more time for the coffee to “steep” to
extract further oils and avor from the coffee bean. This results in a bolder tasting pot of coffee.
1-4 cup brew cycle
Automatically adjusts the brewing process for maximum avor when brewing small quantities. Ideal for brewing
1 to 4 cups of coffee.
* If 12 cups of water are poured into the water tank then 12 cups of coffee will brew.

Automatic start brewing coffee
U.S. VERSION: Press button once, the LCD screen will display . CANADIAN VERSION: Press button
once, the LCD screen will ash the
icon. The previously set hour will ash (last saved). The default future brew
time is 12:00 AM. Follow the “Setting the clock“ to set the HOUR and the MINUTE. After completion of setting
the pre-set clock, the coffee maker will beep and display the auto-start time for 3 seconds before switching to the
current time. The LCD will also display the
or icon. Once the current time reaches the set time for the
auto brew, the coffee maker will start the brewing cycle.
To cancel the automatic start brewing cycle; simply push on the
button once more until the or icon
disappears.
Remembering your Automatic Start Brew Preferences
Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to recall the last automatic start brew settings that were programmed.
The
or icon will appear. The coffee maker will begin to brew coffee at the pre-set time. To cancel, press
and hold
button for 3 seconds and the or icon will disappear.
Pause and Serve
If you wish to serve a cup of coffee before the brew cycle is completed, simply remove the carafe from the keep
warm plate. Dripping will automatically cease. Return the carafe onto the keep warm plate; dripping will resume.
CAUTION: To prevent injury when utilizing the pause and serve feature, replace carafe within 30 seconds after
removing during the brewing process.
1. After approximately 2 cups of coffee have been brewed, the carafe may be slowly removed and the coffee
will stop dripping.
2. The ow valve is located on the bottom of the lter holder and is activated when the carafe is removed.
This design makes it possible for you to remove the carafe and pour a cup of coffee before the entire
carafe is brewed.
IMPORTANT: When replacing the lter holder, the ow valve must be properly inserted into the front hole of the
machine, so that it can be seen as it sits on the top of the carafe lid.
3. When using this feature, make sure that the carafe is replaced under the lter holder within 30 seconds to
prevent overow.
Setting the Duration of the Keep Warm
Press button once, the LCD will display “2:00“ and or icon will ash. The default keep warm time
