Fusing

vvill
minimize
the
possibility
of
damage
due
to
either
amplifier
failure
or
“overdriving”
the
speaker
by
a
large
amplifier.
When
using
amplifiers
producing
over
50
watts
per
channel,
your
Model
501
speaker
should
be
fused.
It
is
important
to
real-
ize
that
overdriving
your
amplifier
(playing
so
loud
that
serious
distortion
results)
generates
excessive
high
fre-
quency
energy
that
can
damage
the
tweeters
even
with
a
low
power
amplifier.
Referring
to
the
speaker
connection
diagram,
the
fuse-
holders
should
be
inserted
in
the
positive
wire
connecting
each
speaker.
Be
sure
to
place
the
fuse
in
an
easily
acces-
sible
location.
