und Reinigungsarbeiten, können
nicht als Garantie anerkannt
werden.
Für das Mähergehäuse aus Alu-
minium und Magnesium erweitert
sich die Garantiefrist auf 5 Jahre,
wenn der Mäher ausschließlich für
den privaten Gebrauch eingesetzt
wird.
Die Produkte enthalten verschie-
dene Bauteile, die einem
gebrauchsbedingten Verschleiß
bzw. einer normalen Abnutzung
unterliegen. Diese Verschleißteile
sind nicht Bestandteil der
Garantie.
Als Verschleißteile werden produkt-
abhängig im Einzelnen folgende
Bauteile ausgeschlossen:
Messer / Messerbalken /
Antriebsriemen / Pflegewalze /
Messerwalze / Untermesser /
Schneidplatte / Schneidfaden /
Schneidkopfdeckel / Sägeblatt /
Nickel / Cadmium-Zelle (Batterie).
Diese Hersteller-Garantie berührt
die gegenüber dem Händler / Ver-
käufer bestehende Gewährlei-
stungsansprüche nicht.

4. Notes on these Operating Instructions
The Brill brillencio is designed for
mowing lawns and areas of grass
in private domestic gardens and
allotments and is not intended for
commercial use, for operation in
public facilities, parks, sports
grounds, alongside roads or for
agriculture and forestry.
It is essential that you observe the
operating instructions provided by
Brill to ensure that you use your
lawnmower correctly. The operating
instructions contain important
information about operating,
maintaining and repairing your
lawnmower.

Warning! This lawnmower
must not be used for
trimming bushes, hedges or shrubs,
for cutting or shredding climbing
plants or creepers, for mowing roof
vegetation or plants in balcony
planters due to the risk of personal
injury. Moreover, this lawnmower
must not be used as a shredder for
shredding tree and hedge cuttings
or for levelling uneven ground.

6.2. Fitting the Guide Handle
Figure B
The Brill brillencio is supplied pre-
assembled. Remove your lawn-
mower from the box, unfold the
z-shape folding guide handle
and tighten the clamping grip
(Figure C). The folding handle
catch engages automatically as
soon as you move the handle to the
working position.

Warning! Make sure
you do not trap the
Bowden cables (Figure B POS 15).
Lift the multi-function box slightly
and unfold the catch on the
left and right so that the multi-
function box is opened auto-
matically when it is tipped
forwards (Figure D POS 14).
