Use the Feather Stitch as a decorative top stitch or when hemming
blankets, tablecloths or draperies or when embroidering.
1. Set the Pattern Selection Dial to Feather Stitch.
2. Place the fabric right side up and sew 1 cm (3/8") from the edge
of the fabric.
3. Trim close to the stitching.
This stitch will prevent the fabric from unravelling.

This stitch can be used to sew heavyweight stretch fabrics wher-
ever a Zigzag Stitch could be used. The Triple Zigzag Stretch Stitch
can also be used as a decorative top stitch.
Set the Pattern Selection Dial to Triple Zigzag Stretch Stitch.

La puntada pluma puede usarse como puntada de tope decorativo o
para el dobladillo de frazadas, manteles, cortinas o bien para
bordado.
1. Coloque el selector de puntadas en la puntada pluma.
2. Coloque el tejido con el derecho arriba y cosa 1 cm (3/8") a partir
de la orilla.
3. Corte el tejido cerca de las puntadas.
Esta puntada impedirá que el tejido se deshilache.

Esta puntada puede servir para coser materiales gruesos y pesados
siempre y cuando una puntada zigzag pueda utilizarse. Esta puntada
elástica de triple pespunto o puntada festón triple también puede
servir como puntada decorativa en el derecho del tejido.
Coloque el selector de puntadas en la triple puntada zigzag elástica.

Utiliser le point plume comme point fantaisie ou comme point d’ourlet
pour les couvertures, nappes, tentures ou pour des travaux de broderie.
1. Mettre le sélecteur de modèle de point sur le point plume (point
d’épine).
2. Placer le tissu à l’endroit et coudre 1 cm à partir du bord.
3. Couper le tissu au ras des points.
Ce point empêche le tissu de s’effilocher.

Utiliser ce point pour coudre des tissus élastiques épais là où un point
zigzag pourrait être utilisé. Le point rick-rack peut aussi servir de point
fantaisie de “haute couture”.
Mettre le sélecteur de modèle de point sur le triple point zigzag élastique.
