Self-Check Feature
OCEANUS Connected automatically
performs a self-check operation once a day to
determine whether or not watch functions are
operating normally.
Note
You can also trigger a self-check
operation manually.
You can use OCEANUS Connected to
view a self-check procedure log.
The self-check operation is performed
by OCEANUS Connected, and not by
the watch.
Connection
Connecting with a Phone
Your watch can connect with a phone that is
paired with it.
If the watch is not paired with the phone you
want to connect with, refer to the information
below and pair them.

Pair the watch with a phone.
Checking the Connection with Your
Phone

Enter the Calendar Mode.

Press (B).
This will cause the second hand to
indicate the connection status.
The second hand points to [Y(YES)]
when the watch is connected with your
phone.
The second hand points to [N(NO)]
when the watch is not connected with
your phone.
If the watch is not connected with your
phone, perform the procedure at the link
below to connect them.

Connecting with a Phone
1. Move the phone close to (within one meter
of) the watch.

Hold down (B) for at least 0.5 seconds
until the second hand points to [C].
This establishes a connection between
the watch and phone.
Once the watch and phone are
connected, the connection is
maintained.
Important!
If you have problems establishing a
connection, it could mean that
OCEANUS Connected is not running
on your phone. On your phone’s home
screen, tap the “OCEANUS
Connected” icon. After the app starts
up, hold down the watch’s (B) button
for at least 0.5 seconds.
Unpairing
Unpairing the watch from a phone requires
both OCEANUS Connected and watch
operations.
Note
If you are using an iPhone, also delete
the pairing information stored on the
phone.
Deleting Pairing Information from
OCEANUS Connected
1.

Tap the “OCEANUS Connected” icon.

Perform the operation shown on the
phone screen to unpair.
Deleting Pairing Information from the
Watch
1.

Hold down (C) for at least one second
to enter the Calendar Mode.

Loosen the crown and then pull it out to
the second click.
The second hand will move to the city
code of the currently selected Home City.
The mode hand will point to the summer
time setting for the currently selected
Home City.

Hold down (B) for at least 10 seconds.
This deletes the pairing information. The
second hand will point to [C].

Push the crown back in and then lock it.

Deleting the phone’s pairing
information
For details about setting procedures, see your

Cancel the
watch’s device registration.
If you purchase another phone
You need to perform the pairing operation
whenever you want to establish a Bluetooth
connection with a phone for the first time.
