To enter the Home Time Mode
Press the HOME/WORLD key once.

To set your Home Time zone
1. Inthe Home Time Mode, press FUNCTION and then seiect “Time zone change”
2. Use & and W to scroll through the city names,
» See page 23 for a complete fist of time zones.
3. When the city you want is displayed. press ENTER.
» You can change your Home Time zone Iater if you like. When yau do, only the
zone changes, without affecting the time or date setting,
To set the time and date
1. Inthe Home Time Mode, press FUNCTION and then select “Time set”. iis
The hour setting flashes on the display.
Use <4 and PB to move the flashing selection around the display.
2. Input numbers for the year, month, day, hour, and minutes.
Input the year as four digits in the range of 1901 through 2099.
Use 12-hour or 24-hour format depending on the Home Time format (page 131.
All illegal input is ignored
3. With 12-hour time format, press A for AM or P for PM.
4. Press ENTER to quit.
« Pressing ENTER resets the seconds count to “00”.

To switch between standard time and daylight saving time
in the Home Time Mode, press FUNCTION and then select “Daylight savings”.
« This toggies to the opposite setting and returns to the Home Time Mode screen.
38 indicates ‘daylight saving time:
To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour timekeeping
In the Home Time Mode, press FUNCTION and then select “12/24 hours”.
« This toggles to the opposite setting and returns to the Home Time Mode screen.
The AM/PM indicator indicates 12-hour timekeeping.
« The time format you select is applied for all modes.
To select the date format
1, inthe Home Time Mode, press FUNCTION and then select “Date format”
2. Select the date format that you want to use.
« The foliowing shows and example of each format
[1] Month/Date/Year: JAN 1, 1999 (FRI)
[2] Date/Month/Year: 1 JAN, 1999 (FRI)
[3] Year/Month/Date: 1999/1/1 (FRI)
« The date format you select is applied in ai! modes.

The Daily Aiarm. it sounds at the same time every day for 20 seconds and the Os
Alarm screen appears.
To change the Daily Alarm time
1. In the Hame Time Mode. press FUNCTION and then select ‘Daily alarrn set”
+ The hour setting flashes on the display
+ Use and P to move the flashing
2. Input numbers for the hour and minutes.
* All illegal input is ignored
3. Fe: 12-hour time format. press A for AM or B for PM.
4 Press ENTER to quit.
