Casio V-R7100 Setup Guide

V-R100/7000/7100 Setup
The V-R terminals need software version 4.4.2 (dated 10/13/2015) or greater loaded in
order to interface to the new Datacap equipment with Mercury for electronic payment
(including EMV). The V-R series software versions can be down loaded from Casio’s
FTP site, please refer to the software upgrade instructions for terminals requiring at
least version 4.4.2.
There are two (2) APK files and a SQL file (all files dated 10/15/15) required:
Datacap_RPT.apk
DataCap.apk
Setting_EFT_DataCap.sql
These three (3) files are found in the Casio_Addon.zip file. Copy the Casio_Addon.zip
file to the root directory of the SD Card.
1. To unzip this file on your SD Card, go to your Android home screen as
seen below
2. Depress the File Manager or ES File Explorer, if installed, icon button.
3. Depress the Casio_Addon.zip file
4. The Casio folder will appear
5. Select EXTRACT from the option bar at the top of the screen and the
following screen will appear:
6. Select “Choose Path” and depress OK
7. The system will proceed to load the various files into the proper directories
