Caveats
■ If a VIC 1240 adapter is not installed (2-CPU configuration only), you must choose a Cisco,
Emulex, or QLogic I/O adapter to be installed in adapter 2 slot (see also
Network
Connectivity on page 41)
■ The mezzanine adapters are not supported for 1-CPU configurations. You must have two
CPUs installed before you can install and use mezzanine adapters.
■ The 1-CPU server configuration must always have a VIC 1240 installed in the adapter 1 slot.
