Operating instructions
Batteries
1. Remove thebattery cover from theback of theclock and
insert 2×AAA/LR03 batteries. Notethemarkings on
thebottom of thebattery holder to ensure correct polarity.
2. Refit thebatterycover.
Setting thetime
1. Press [ MODE ] until thetime display appears.
2. Press [ + ] to select either a12- or 24-hour clock display.
3. Hold in [ SET ] until thehoursflash.
4. Press [ + ] or [ – ] to set thehours.
5. Press [ SET ] to confirm. Theminutes willflash.
6. Set theminutes, month, date and language in
thesameway. Thefollowing languages are available:
English (ENG), German (GER), French (FRE), Italian (ITA),
Dutch (DUT), Spanish (SPA) and Danish (DAN).
7. Press [ SET ] to confirm when thelast setting has
beenmade.
Setting thealarm and snooze
1. Hold in [ ALARM ] until thealarm time is displayed.
Thehours willflash.
2. Press [ + ] or [ – ] to set thehours.
3. Press [ SET ] to confirm. Theminutes willflash.
4. Press [ + ] or [ – ] to set theminutes.
5. Press [ SET ] to confirm. Z
Z
(snooze function) willflash.
6. Press [ + ] or [ – ] and then [ SET ] to deactivate thesnooze
function or press [ SET ] to activateit.
Activate/deactivate thealarm
Tap [ ALARM ] to activate/deactivate thealarm. The icon
will appear when thealarm is activated and disappear when
thealarm is deactivated.
Snooze function
Pressing [ SNOOZE ] when thealarm sounds will temporarily
shut thealarm off for 5 minutes. After5 minutes thealarm will
soundagain. Press [ ALARM ] to turn thealarmoff.
Care and maintenance
• Whenever thealarm clock is not to be used for anextended
period, thebatteries should be removed and it should be
stored in adry, dust-free environment.
• Clean thealarm clock using alightly moistenedcloth.
Useonly mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive
chemicals.
• Thebatteries should be changed if thedigits on thedisplay
become difficult toread. Nevermix old and new batteries.
Nevermix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
Responsible disposal
1. [ MODE ] Displays set clock time or alarmtime

3. [ SET ] Sets thetime and alarm settings
4. [ + ] Selects 12- or 24-hour time format. Taprepeatedly
or hold in thebutton to increase thevalue when setting

or hold in thebutton to decrease thevalue when setting
thetime oralarm.
