Cleaning and Emptying the Vacuum
WARNING: Projectile/Respiratory Hazard:
Never use the vac without itsfilter.
NOTE: The filter is re-usable, do not confuse it with a
disposable dust bag, and do not throw it away when the
product is emptied. We recommend that you replace the
filter every 6–9 months depending on frequency ofuse.
There are two methods of cleaning the canister, a quick
empty method and a thorough clean method.
To Empty the Dust Canister (Fig. L, M)
• Lift and remove the lift away dust canister

• Place the dust canister over a trash bin and press the dust
canister lid release button

Cleaning
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust
outofall air vents with clean, dry air at least once
a week. To minimize the risk of eye injury, always
wear ANSI Z87.1approved eye protection when
performingthisprocedure.
WARNING: Never use solvents or other
harsh chemicals for cleaning the non‑metallic parts
of the tool. These chemicals may weaken the plastic
materials used in these parts. Use a cloth dampened
only with water and mild soap. Never let any liquid get

WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious
personal injury, turn unit off and remove the
battery pack before making any adjustments or
removing/installing attachments or accessories.
An accidental start‑up can causeinjury.
Using an Accessory Tool (Fig. A, K)
Your vacuum may come with some of the followingtools.
