SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
10. While holding the belt and pulley together, rotate the pulley to the left.
Continue holding and rotating the pulley and belt until the belt is fully rolled
into the PTO pulley.
Parking Brake Adjustment
WARNING
Never attempt to adjust the brakes while the engine is running. Always
disengage PTO (Blade Engage Lever), move shift lever into neutral position,
stop engine and remove key to prevent unintended starting.
If the tractor does not come to a complete stop when the clutch-brake pedal is
completely depressed, or if the tractors rear wheels can roll with the parking brake
applied, the brake is in need of adjustment. Contact the nearest Parts & Repair
Service Center to have your brakes serviced.

Changing the Transmission Drive Belt
NOTE: Several components must be removed and special tools (i.e. air/
impact wrench) in order to change the tractors drive belt. Contact the
nearest Parts & Repair Service Center to have your transmission
drive belt serviced.
