Problem Cause Remedy

Clean chute assembly and inside of auger housing with
clean-out tool or a stick.
Stop engine immediately and disconnect spark plug wire. 2.
Remove object from auger with clean-out tool or a stick.
Refer to Auger Control Test. 3.
Refer to Maintenance & Adjustments section.4.
Replace with new shear pin(s).5.
Chute fails to rotate Improper chute bracket adjustment.1. Refer to Maintenance & Adjustments section.1.
