2D-Link DUB-1312 User Manual
Section 1 - Product Overview
Introduction
The DUB-1312 USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter is designed to plug into an available Universal Serial Bus (USB) port on any
desktop, laptop, or notebook computer running Microsoft Windows® 8,7, Vista®, XP, Mac OS® X, or Linux. Based on the USB
3.0 standard, the DUB-1312 can extend the transfer speeds of USB Fast Ethernet adapters to true one Gbps connectivity.*
Power is provided directly by the USB port, eliminating the need for an external power adapter. The DUB-1312 supports USB
energy-saving suspend and resume functions, in order to minimize power consumption. This is especially useful for laptop
and notebook users.
*Network congestion may aect data rates. You may experience slower transfer speeds due to heavy data trac elsewhere on the network.
