Explanation of the different groups:
•
Group II category 2 means it is possible to operate in following ATEX zones: zone 1 and zone 2; zone
21 and zone 22.
•
G = may operate in a gaseous environment (zone 1 and 2).
•
D = may operate in a dusty environment (zone 21 and 22).
•
c = Ignition protection by “constructional safety”
•
k = Ignition protection by “liquid immersion”
•
TX = Maximum surface temperature mainly depends on operating conditions (like e.g. ambient and
oil temperature).
Production place and date of the motor - OMT sample:
The production location and date of the motor is shown at the first 5 digits of the serial no.
Example: Serial no: N45123094
Five first digits are N4512
N is the manufacturing location (N=Nordborg ; W = Wroclaw)
4 is the year (It stands for the last digit in the possible decade).
51 is the week
2 is the day (2 = Tuesday)
The last four digits are a consecutive number.
