Function:
This parameter informs the frequency converter
whether the motor has an external separately supplied
fan (external ventilation), indicating that derating at low
speed is unnecessary.
Description of choice:
If Yes [1] is selected, the graph below is followed if the
motor frequency is lower. If the motor frequency is
higher, the time will still derate as if no fan had been
installed.
130 Start frequency (START FREQUENCY)

0.0 - 10.0 Hz

Function:
This parameter allows setting of the output frequency
at which the motor is to start.
The output frequency 'leaps' to the set value. This pa-
rameter can be used e.g. for hoist applications (cone
rotor motors).
Description of choice:
Set the desired start frequency.
It is assumed that the start function in parameter 121
has been set to [3] or [4] and that a start delay time has
been set in parameter 120; also, a reference signal
must be present.
NOTE
If parameter 123 is set higher than param-
eter 130, the start delay function (param-
eters 120 and 121) will be skipped.
131 Initial voltage (INITIAL VOLTAGE)

Function:
Some motors, such as cone rotor motors, need extra
voltage/starting frequency (boost) when starting, so as
to disengage the mechanical brake.
For this purpose use parameters 130/131.
Description of choice:
Set the desired value required to disengage the me-
chanical brake.
It is assumed that the start function in parameter 121
has been set to [3] or [4] and that a start delay time has
been set in parameter 120; also, a reference signal
must be present.
