Removing the Optical Drive

Prerequisites
Remove the battery.
Procedure
1 Remove the screw that secures the optical-drive assembly to the
computer base.
2 Using your fingertips, slide the optical-drive assembly out of the optical-
drive bay.

3 optical-drive assembly
3 Remove the screw that secures the optical-drive bracket to the optical-
drive assembly.
4 Remove the optical-drive bracket from the optical-drive assembly.
