WHB-200 Microgrid Interconnect Device
It is a micro-grid interconnect device for whole home back-up.Grid switches and backup
switches are mounted inside Whole Home Backup(WHB-200). It can be used to trans-
fer between grid connection mode and o grid mode. Thanks to its large capacity, whole
home loads backup could be realized with WHB-200. If whole home loads backup is not
necessary, MID could be used.
The RSD provides an automatic disconnect of residential or small commercial PV sys-
tems, fully compliant with the Rapid Shutdown requirements of NEC Article 690.12.
Rapid Shutdown Device
HV battery communicates with Delta Ex_BDI series inverter via RS485 or CAN. And the
battery must comply with the specications of UL1973.
Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Box
EVSE Box is connected between Electric Vehicle and Ex_BDI series inverter, respon-
sible for the charge and discharge management of the Electric Vehicle
Dark start Battery
Dark start battery is connected to Ex_BDI series inverter. when the AC grid is lost, the
Battery supplies power to the control circuit of the Ex_BDI series inverter and the EVSE
Box.
For DC-couple system, PV panel works in MPPT mode or power reduction mode ac-
cording to system operational mode. For AC-couple system, there may be no solar
module connected to Delta Ex_BDI series inverter, and the PV power option will be
deactivated.
The Delta Ex_BDI Series inverter manages PV, HV battery and EV battery energy.

If a high voltage(HV) battery is connected to the Delta Ex_BDI series inverter, it must
be activated before use. This setting can be done in factory test or via APP after instal-
lation.
