Why my Echo SRM-265T Trimmer engine cranks but starts hard or doesn't start?

If your Echo Trimmer's engine cranks but is hard to start or doesn't start at all, several factors could be at play. It might be due to a clogged fuel strainer or fuel line, or issues with the carburetor. Try cleaning or replacing these components. A fuel mixture that's too rich could also be the culprit; in this case, open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, and adjust the carburetor. If there's no spark, ensure the switch is in the ON position. Finally, check the spark gap; if it's incorrect, covered with carbon, fouled with fuel, or the plug is defective, adjust it to .65mm (0.026 in.), clean or replace it, or replace the plug entirely.
