WITH BLADES
Preparing the Trimmer/Brush Cutter for Blade Use
WARNING
DANGER
Blade use DEMANDS specific Trimmer/Brush Cutter configuration.
Operation without specified shield, harness, and handle can result in serious personal injury.
Grass/Weed Blades require:
SRM-310, 310S: Installation of metal shield (A), installation
of accessory Barrier Bar (B) P/N
99944200455, or U-Handle Kit*, P/N
35130454130, and use of harness (C).
SRM-310U: Installation of metal shield (A), and use of
standard U-handle (D), and harness with
hip pad (E).
*Echo recommends installation of U-Handle for frequent
grass/weed blade use.
Brush/Clearing Blades require:
SRM-310, 310S: Installation of metal shield (A) and
accessory U-Handle Kit, P/N 35130454130
(B), and use of harness with hip pad (D).
SRM-310U: Installation of metal shield (A), and use of
standard U-Handle (D), and harness with
hip pad (E).
NOTES
SRM-310 & 310S include Metal Shield, Standard
Harness, and blade mounting hardware as standard
features.
SRM-310U includes Metal Shield, U-Handle, Harness w/
Hip Pad, and blade mounting hardware as standard
features.
Choosing the Correct Blade
WARNING
DANGER
The type of Blade used MUST be matched to the type and size of material cut. An improper or dull blade can cause
serious personal injury. Blades MUST be sharp. Dull blades increase the chance of kick out, and injury to yourself
and bystanders.
