SURFACEBURNERS
Adjust the top burner flame size so it does not extend beyond the edge of the cookware, Excessive
flame is hazardous,
Clean the cooktop surface with caudon.
ff a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe
spills on a hot surt_hce, be carefid to avoid
steam bums. Some cleaners can produce
noxious tirades it applied to a hot surf`ace.
NOTE: _ recommend that you avoid
wiping any surf`ace areas undl they have
cooled. Sugar spills are the exception to
this. Please see Cleaning the glass cooktop
surface section.
When the cooktop is cool, use only
CEP,AMA BRYTE ¢_Ceramic Cooktop
(;leaner and the CERAMA BRYTE ¢_
(;leaning Pad to clean the cooktop.
}} To avoid possible damage to the cooking
surface, do not apply cleaning cream to
the glass surf`ace when it is hot.
}}After cleaning, use a dry cloth or paper
towel to remove all cleaning cream
residue.
;:; Read and fbllow all instructions and
warnings on the cleaning cream labels.
;:; Never clean the cooktop surf`ace when it is
hot. Some cleaners pro&ice noxious trams
and wet cloths could cause steam bums if
used on a hot surf`ace.
;:; Never leave jars or cans of f`at drippings
on or near your cooktop.
;:; Don't use aluminum foil to line burner
bowls. Misuse could result in a fire hazard
or damage u) the cooktop.
;:; Do not cover or block the area around the
cooktop knobs. This area must be kept
clear fbr proper ventilation and burner
perfbrmance.
;:; Large scratches or impacts to glass
cooktops can lead to broken or shattered
glass.
::; Clean only parts listed in this Owner's
Manual.
