Usingthe downdraftsystem.
Onsome models, the Raise/Lower
switch is located at the top right of
the vent.
Raise/Lower Switch (30" models only)
Turn tile downdraft blower ONby pressing
tile raise/lower switch located at the top
right of the vent. Place your finger on tile
"center" of the switch and hold until you
observe the vent moving, then release.
The air vent will rise. Use the selector switch
to mrn the blower ON,OFFor to change
tile blower speed.
The vent may be lowered by again pressing
tile raise/lower switch at tile top right side
of the vent. The blowm; if left on, will
automatically go offwhen the vent is
lowered.
NOTE:Formostconvenientoperation,set the
blowertothespeedyouusemostoften.The
blowerwillcomeontothisspeedwhenever
theunitisraised.

blower ON, OFFer to change the
blower speed.

Remote Raise/Lower Switch (36" models only)
The 36" models have a remote raise/lower
switch. It operates in the same manner as
tile switch located on the vent. This switch
may be located beside the cooktop or in a
convenient location.
