Removal of Surface Burners for Cleaning
Turn all controls OFF. Allow cooktop to cool before removing grates and burner parts. When removing the burner caps
and heads, remember their size and location. Replace them in the same location after cleaning.
CAUTION Do not attempt to remove bridge burner, oval burner or tri-ring burner caps from burner
heads.
Round Burner
The burner caps and
burner heads can be lifted
off the cooktop.
Bridge Burner
(on some models)
The bridge burner cap is
permanently attached to
the burner head assembly.
The burner assembly can
be lifted off the cooktop as
one piece. The burner caps
and burner heads can be
lifted off the cooktop.
Oval Burner
(on some models)
Cap is permanently
attached to the burner
head.
Tri-Ring Burner
(on some models)
The small tri-ring burner
cap can be lifted off for
cleaning. The outer cap is
permanently attached to
the burner head assembly.
Lift the burner head
assembly off the cooktop
as one piece.
