Troubleshooting:
- Burner will not ignite:
- Possible Causes: Frosted propane cylinder, blocked opening, control knob not in "ON" position, too many lava rocks covering burner bowl, or small pieces blocking burner ports.
- Corrective Actions: Wait for cylinder to warm up, clear blockage, turn knob to "ON", remove/adjust lava rocks.
- Burner flame is too low:
- Possible Causes: Low gas pressure, outdoor temperature below 40°F with cylinder less than 1/4 full.
- Corrective Actions: Turn off cylinder valve and replace cylinder, use a full propane cylinder, check burner ports for blockage.
- Carbon build-up and/or thick black smoke:
- Possible Causes: Dirt/film on reflector and burner screen, blocked burner.
- Corrective Actions: Clean reflector/burner screen, remove blockage, clean burner inside and outside.
