LOCK-ON

The lock-on feature is convenient when spraying for an
extendedperiodoftimeorwhencoveringalargearea.
Tolock-on,depressthetriggerandslideitforward.
To release the lock-on, depress the trigger and slide it
backward.
NOTE: Make sure the trigger is not locked on before insert-
ingthebatterypackintothesprayer.
ADJUSTING THE SPRAY NOZZLE

Thespraynozzlecanbeadjustedfromastreamtoafan
spray.
Removethebatterypackfromthetool.
Loosenthenozzleforastream.
Tightenthenozzleforafanspray.

Installthebatterypackintothetool.
DepresstheON/OFFbuttontostartthemotor.
The sprayer may be operated with the handle resting in
the handle storage area as shown in figure 10, or you may
removeandholdthehandleasshowninfigure11.
Directthesprayernozzledirectlyatthesurfaceareasyou
wishtotreat.
NOTE: Makesuretostandfarenoughfromtheobject
beingsprayedtopreventthesprayfromsplashingback
ontoyou.
Squeezeandholdtheswitchtriggerwhiletheunitprimes.
This may take several seconds. Continue holding the
triggeruntilunitbeginstospray.
Spray on a dry surface using long, even, overlapping
strokes.
NOTE: While the sprayer is in use some dripping from
thenozzlemayoccur,thisistobeexpected.
OPERATION
Releasethetriggertostopthespray.
Alwaysempty,clean,anddrainthetankaftereveryuse
as directed in the Maintenancesection.
Thoroughly clean the sprayer and tank before transport-
ing or storing the unit and before switching to a different
chemical.SeeCleaning the Unit laterinthismanual.
NOTE:Wipe the outside of the tank with a dry cloth and
cleanupanyspillsbeforeinsertingthetank.
When you are finished with the sprayer, thoroughly wash
your hands and any area where skin has been exposed
tothespray.
OPERATING TIPS
Never point the spray end of the wand at yourself or
others.
Avoidsprayingonwindydays.Spraycanbeaccidentally
blownontoplantsorobjectsthatshouldnotbesprayed.
Neversprayinthedirectionofpeopleoranimals;always
spraydownwind.
Especially in warmer weather, spray in the early morning
orlateafternoon.Excessiveheatcanevaporatethespray
beforeitsettles.
Neversmoke,eat,ordrinkwhileoperatingthesprayer.
