Troubleshooting
Engine Will Not Start

Starter Motor Operates But Engine
Does Not Start
Check the following items:
● Check the correct engine starting
sequence. 2 P. 32
● Check that there is gasoline in the fuel
tank.
● Check if the PGM-FI malfunction indicator
lamp (MIL) is on.
u If the indicator light is on, contact your
dealer as soon as possible.

Starter Motor Does Not Operate
Check the following items:
● Make sure the engine stop switch is in the
(Run) position.

● Check for a loose battery connection or
battery terminal corrosion.

● Check the condition of the battery

If the problem continues, have your
motorcycle inspected by your dealer.
