When the passenger airbag off
indicator comes on
The indicator stays on while the passenger’s
front airbag system is deactivated.
When a rear-facing child restraint system is
not in use in the front passenger seat,
manually turn the system back on. The
indicator should go off.

Passenger Front Airbag Off Indicator
1Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Indicator
Remove the rear-facing child restraint
system immediately from the front
passenger seat if the SRS indicator comes
on. Even if the passenger front airbag has
been deactivated, do not ignore the SRS
indicator.
The SRS system may have a fault which
could cause the passenger front airbag to
be activated, causing serious injury or
death.
