6.3.4 Metering

1. Power on the camcorder and make sure it is in the DSC Mode.

2. Touch the

icon or press the Menu Button ( ) then

touch the Metering option to display the submenu.

3. Touch the desired Metering option (Spot, Center, Touch AE) to

select as illustrated below. After an option is selected, the

Menu screen will be displayed again.

This setting is to ensure correct exposure for the

object even if the background is very bright or

very dark.

Spot

Use this setting to preserve background details

while letting lighting conditions at the center of

the frame define exposure.

Center

Touch AE

Touch the object to make it with suitable light.

4. Touch the icon to return to DSC recording mode.
