4.1. Continued.
Start the machine by carefully pulling
the starting handle.
Do this whilst the machine is against the
ground.
Now control the throttle so that the
machine runs evenly until it reaches full
speed.
Check for abnormal vibrations when
machine is running. If machine is
vibrating too much, it is generally
because the poles and/or attachments
are not fitted and secured properly.
As soon as the engine is running
smoothly, the choke may be returned to
its normal position.
4.2 BBlade removal.
4.2.1 The machine is not supplied with the blade fitted.
4.2.2 Line up the hole in the carrier plate Fig 1 - 1) with the notch beneath it and
lock the carrier plate with the size 4 Allen key.
4.2.3 Remove the securing nut for the blade (2) using the supplied spark plug
wrench (Fig 2 - 6) Important: Left-handed thread!
4.2.4 Remove the pressure plate cover (Fig 3 - 4) and the pressure plate(Fig 3 - 3.3
4.4.5. The blade Fig 3 - 2) can now be fitted.
4.2.6 To re-assemble,proceed in reverse order. Please note that the side of the
pressure plate with recess must point towards the blade.
