the
power
On,
and
perform
the
pumping
operation
explained
earlier
in
this
section.
After
that,
perform
the
print verification
operation,
and you
are
ready
to start
color
printing
again.
Optimum
results
can
be obtained
using
IBM-supplied
ink
cartridges.
Never
attempt
to
refill
the ink
cartridges.

Do
not
transport,
store,
or attempt
to
operate
the
printer
without
ink
cartridges
inserted.
This
could
lead
to a
malfunction
or
to
ink leakage.
If you
run
out
of ink
and
you
have
no
replacement
cartridge,
leave
the
empty
ink
cartridge
in
the
printer
until
you
can replace
it
with
a
new
one.
Do
not attempt to
interchange
the
black
and
color
cartridges.
This
will damage
the
printer.
