IMPORTANT! Always close/
put down the parasol when
not in use. Do not use
or assemble the parasol
in heavy winds, rain,
thunderstorms or if it’s
snowing. In these weather
conditions, we recommend
to fold down or disassemble
the parasol. Disassemble by
following the setup steps in
reverse.
IMPORTANT! The parasol
must be secured in place
on the ground with
SVARTÖ parasol base, sold
separately, or with 4 slabs of
concrete, cement or similar
material. Recommended
size of the slabs is 50x50 cm
(about 20x20”) with a total
weight of min. 90 kg (199
lb). Slabs are not included
but are available at a DIY
store. Make sure the ground
is level and rm. Distribute
the slabs around the cross
brace as shown in the
assembly instructions.
• Assemble the parasol by
following the assembly
instructions carefully.
• Do not assemble the
parasol on sandy, muddy
or loose soil.
• Keep children and pets
away while setting up the
parasol.
• Children must be
supervised around the
parasol.
• This parasol is for outdoor
use only.
• Do not light any res
under or near the parasol!
• This product has been
tested for domestic use.
• This parasol is primarily
intended to be used as a
sunshade and not as wind
protection.
Hold immediately if the
crank or handle operation
becomes heavy. Ensure that
you are turning the crank
or handle in the correct
direction. If your parasol has
a crank, always ensure to
