CLEAN MACHINE
The cooling system must be checked and cleaned
daily to prevent engine overheating (more often under
especially dirty conditions).
Procedure:
1. Remove radiator screen S.
2. Clean the radiator, oil cooler and radiator screen of
any grass chaff or debris using compressed air.
3. Replace the radiator screen.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE
– Check fluid level in battery B periodically. If low,
top up with distilled water.
– When connecting or disconnecting battery, follow
the procedure given at right.
When working with battery fluids:
– Always use protective equipment, such as, but
not limited to, goggles, face shield, rubber gloves,
and apron.
– If skin is exposed to battery acid, rinse
immediately with very large amounts of water;
then seek medical attention.
– Sparks or flame can
start explosion.
– Disconnect negative (–)
battery terminal first.
– Reconnect negative (–)
battery terminal last.
