Adjustment Procedure
Results of Improper Adjustment
Checking items:
❶
Belt
❷
Motor
❸
Nuts
* Sewing speed: Up to 1,350 ± 150 sti/min
* The belt should slacken approx. 2.5 to 5 mm under a 200 gr. load (A).
How to perform adjustment:
○
Loosen the nuts
❸
of the motor
❷
.
○
Carry out adjustment by moving motor
❷
.
○
Retighten the nuts
❸
.
* For the 220-240 V type models, Phillips-head screws are used in-
stead of nuts
❸
, and their positions are dierent from the nuts of the
100/120 V type models. However, the adjustment value is the same.
When the tension is excessively
increased, the load applied to the
motor is increased to cause reduc-
tion in the number of revolutions
and motor heating.
When the tension is excessively
decreased, irregular rotation due to
the belt teeth skipping or abnormal
noise due to the belt vibration can
occur.
