Firmly conect the white plug of the output cord trom
this turntable to the PHONO L (left) termin al of the
stereo amplifier and the red plug to the A(rignt
termin al and confirm the correct connections. (Fig

The service life of the stylus depends on conditions
of use: the standard is between 800 and 1600 hours
When purchasing a stylus, specify the JVC DT-
558(Type A)/DT-45(Type B
(Type A)
How to remove the old stylus
Hold the cartirdge and press the stylus assembly
downwards (Fig. 6)
How to fit a new stylus
1. Insert the lug of the stylus assembly vertic a l l y
(Fig. 7)
2.Pre ss it upwards with both fingers until itsnaps in
Dlace (Fig. 6)

How to repl ac e
1. Pull diagonally downwards the stylus assembly
as shown by the arrow in Fig. 8
2.To install the stylus assembly, push it upwards in
the direction of the arrow
Note:
øReplace the stylus assembly with the stylus
cover fitted so as not to damage the stylus tip.

Tonearm elevator-height adjustment (Fig. 9)
The optimum clearance between the stylus tip and
the record surface is about 6 mm when the tonearm
isrestingonthetonearmelevator(withthe
UP/DOWN knob switc he d to the UP position
Turning the adjusting screw clockwise lowers the
height of the tonear m elevator and turning it
counterclockwise increases it

Die optimale Distanz zwischen der Nadelspitze und
der Schallplattenoberflache betragt etwa 6 mm
wen n der Tonarm auf dem Tonarmlift aufliegt (und
der UP/DOWN-Knopf auf der UP-Position stent)

Uhrzeigerrichtung wird die Höhe des Tonarmlifts
