3 Enter the DAB MODE Menu.
The last selected item appears (highlighted)
with the current setting.
4 Select “Announce.”
5 Turn off or on the Announcement
Standby Reception.
Announcement type:
Activates Announcement
Standby Reception with the
selected announcement type.
Off: Cancels the Reception.
To exit from the Menu operation, press
MENU again.
ANN indicator
(either lights up or flashes)
6 Finish the setting.
• If the ANN indicator lights up,
Announcement Standby Reception is
activated.
•
If the ANN indicator flashes, Announcement
Standby Reception is not yet activated.
To activate Announcement Standby
Reception, tune in to another service
providing these signals.
When you tune in to such a service, the ANN
indicator stops flashing and remains lit. Now
Announcement Standby Reception is
activated.
To turn off or on Announcement Standby
Reception
Once you activate the Reception by selecting a
announcement type (see above), you can
deactivate and activate it with the same
announcement type by following the procedure
below.
1 While listening to a service...
The Main Menu appears on
the display.
2 Move the cursor to “MODE” on the
Main Menu.
