cancels
out
the
centripetal
force

pulls

tonearm
to
the
center
of
the
platter.
This
prevents
the
stylus
tip
from
skating
toward
the

platter
and
at
the
same
time
elimi-
nates

excessive
stylus
tip
force
on
the
inner
wall
of
the
record
groove.
Turn
the
dial
to
the
same
number
as
the
tracking
force
dial.

adaptor

adaptor
onto
the
center
spindle
when
you
play
a
record
with
a
bigger
center
hole
such
as
a
doughnut
record.
