The following procedure explains the front speaker assembly. The
assembly of both the front and surround speakers are done in the
same manner.
NOTE
• The stands and the base plates are commonly used for both front and
surround speakers assembly.
Before assembling —
• Prepare a Phillips screwdriver (not supplied).
• Take care not to drop the base plate while assembling; otherwise,
it may cause damage to the floor or injury.

• You can route the speaker cords through one on the three
grooves on the base plate depending on the speaker layout.
• Depending on the installing condition, you can assemble the
front and surround speakers without the stands. In such a
case, attach the speaker directly to the base plate instead of
the stand.
