Why won't my Kärcher K 5.68 M motor start?

The motor may not start for several reasons. First, ensure the On/Off switch is in the “ON” (I) position. Check that the power cord is properly plugged into an electrical outlet that supplies adequate power; try a different outlet if necessary. Also, verify that the GFCI plug hasn't tripped by pressing the “RESET” button. Finally, if the circuit breaker has tripped, switch off the pressure washer to allow it to reset automatically as the unit cools down.
