MAKING A STRAIGHT CUT
1. Turn off the saw.
2. Mark the desired cutting line directly onto the work-
piece with a pencil or other marker.
3. Adjust the rip fence to the desired distance from the
blade, using the scale rules on the table surface for
reference.
4. Tighten the rip fence by turning the locking knob
clockwise to rmly lock the rip fence on the table
(Fig. 9).
5. Place the workpiece rmly against the rip fence
(Fig. 10).
6. Turn on the saw.
7. Hold the tile rmly against the rip fence, and push the
workpiece towards the blade.
8. Slowly push the workpiece into the blade to make the
cut.
9. Turn off the saw and wait for the blade to come to a
complete stop.
10. Remove the cut pieces and any debris from the table.
MAKING AN ANGLE CUT
1. Turn off the saw.
2. Mark the desired cutting line directly onto the work
piece with a pencil or other marker.
3. Place the angle guide onto the rip fence.
4. Loosen the locking knob on the angle guide, and set
the desired angle as indicated by the pointer and the
scale on the angle guide.
5. Retighten the knob.
6. Adjust the rip fence to the desired distance from the
blade, using the scale rules on the table surface for
reference.
7. Tighten the rip fence by turning the locking knob
clockwise to rmly lock the rip fence on the table.
8. Place the corner of the workpiece rmly into the angle
guide Fig. 11.
9. Turn on the saw.
10. Hold the tile rmly against angle guide, and push the
angle guide and the workpiece towards the blade.
