6. Adjusting the Base-Plate Bevel Angle
WARNING
• Battery tools are always in operating condition.
To reduce the risk of injury, always remove the
battery pack before making any adjustments or
changing accessories.
a. Pivot the bevel lever (L) to unlock the base
plate (J).
b. Move the base plate forward so that the lock
pin does not contact the base plate. The base
plate now can be beveled to the left or to the
right. Detents are positioned at 0°, 15°, 30° and
45°, according to the scale marked on the base
plate.
c. When the desired bevel angle is achieved,
move the base plate backward; make sure
that the lock pin is located in the slot of the
scale.
d. Move the bevel lever back to lock the base
plate.
