TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING
• Turn the switch to the “OFF” position and remove the battery before performing
troubleshooting procedures.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
Tool does not work.
1. Low battery pack
capacity.
1. Charge the battery pack.
2. The side rails are not
extended to their full
length and the clamps
are not locked in
position.
2. Fully extend the handle and lock both
clamps.
3. Battery pack overheating
3. Wait for the battery pack to cool
down and try starting the mower
again.
The mower cuts
unevenly.
1. Dull blade. 1. Sharpen or replace the blade.
2. The blade is assembled
incorrectly.
2. Reassemble the blade, following the
section “Installing the Blade” in this
manual.
The mower does
not mulch properly.
1. Wet grass clippings are
sticking to the underside
of the deck.
1. Wait until the grass dries before
mowing.
2. The mower is set to cut
too much grass at once.
2. Raise the deck to a higher cutting-
height setting.
The far left Power
Indicator light
ashes.
Low battery capacity. Charge the battery pack.
All three Power
Indicator lights are
off.
Motor overheating or
Battery/tool overload, tool
has stopped working in
order to protect internal
circuits.
Wait for the tool/battery to cool down,
remove and reinstall the battery pack,
and try starting the mower again.
Battery pack is depleted. Charge the battery pack.
