STARTING
Step 1
Open the gas valve on the tank to the full open
position by turning it counterclockwise until the
knob stops rotating.

Step 1: Support Pole connection to the Base.
Remove the locking pin (I) from the base. Place the base on a flat
surface. Insert the Support Pole with the slotted side down as
shown. Press in firmly.
Ensure the pole has been inserted all the way down and
turn base sideways. Insert the locking pin through the
hole at the bottom until it comes out on the other side
as shown. Then, insert the safety pin through the pin’s
hole as shown.
Step 2: Support Pole connection to the Main Unit
Press the pins on the sides of the top of the Support Pole
assembly and insert the Main Body until both pins “click” into
the holes of the main body’s “neck”.
Press down firmly.
Step 3: Catch Tray
Make sure the catch is properly installed at the
back of the unit. You can do this by sliding out the
catch then back again until it hits the wall of the
unit.
Step 4: Placement of the Propane Tank.
Do not use a Propane Tank larger than 9.07kg/20lbs
Place a full tank of propane on the base as shown. Screw the free
end of the regulator hose onto the propane tank valve.

Follow the safety information listed on the tank.

Step 2
Press and keep pressed the valve button (left) and then
press/click the igniter red button (right) several times during 15
seconds until the flame is on the inside of the unit. Wait 15
seconds and release the valve button. After 2 minutes you
should see the red LED on and hear the fan blowing air
through the catch.
Step 3
Monitor the unit for 5 minutes making sure that the red LED is
still on and you can hear the fan working and/or you can feel
air coming through the catch’s mesh.
WARNING
If the unit does not light within approximately 10 seconds, release the gas button and always wait 60
seconds between lighting attempts to allow un-burnt gas to dissipate. Repeat steps 2 through 3 if the
burner goes out. There is a safety device that must warm up enough to allow gas to the burner after
the safety button is released. (No longer pushed in).
Note - When installing a new or refilled propane tank, it may take up to 30 seconds for the gas to reach
the burner.
