IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electric shock, and/or
injury to persons including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. To protect against re, electric shock and injury to persons, do
not immerse cord, plugs or appliance in water or other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near
children. Keep appliance out of reach of children. Product is not
intended for use by children.
4. Please make sure to always unplug the machine when not in
use and before cleaning. Allow the machine to cool down before
taking off parts or putting them back in place, and before cleaning
the rest of the appliance.
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any
manner. Return appliance to your nearest authorized KRUPS
Service Center for examination, repair or adjustment (see Limited
Warranty).
6. The use of an unauthorized accessory with this appliance may
result in re, electric shock or injury to persons.
7. Do not use outdoors.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
9. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
10. To disconnect, turn off the appliance then unplug it.
11. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
12. Appliance for household indoor use only.
13. Do not immerse in water.
