15.1 Removing the front wheel
Preparatory work
– Lift the motorcycle with the rear lifting gear. ( p. 199)
– Lift the motorcycle with the front lifting gear. ( p. 200)

Main work

Remove screws

from both brake calipers.
– Press back the brake linings by slightly tilting the brake
calipers laterally on the brake disc. Pull the brake calipers
carefully back from the brake discs and hang to the side.

Do not operate the hand brake lever if the brake
calipers have been removed.

Unscrew screw

about six turns and press your hand on the
screw to push the wheel spindle out of the axle clamp. Remove
screw
