diagnostics information in the Hardware Maintenance Manual that is included on
the ThinkServer Documentation DVD.
If you suspect a software problem, see the documentation, including README
files and online help, that comes with the operating system or application
program.
Lenovo maintains pages on the World Wide Web where you can get the latest
technical information and download device drivers and updates. To access
these pages, go to http://www.lenovo.com/support and follow the
instructions.
Before you call
Before you call, take the following steps to try to solve the problem yourself:
v Check all cables to make sure that they are connected.
v Check the power switches to make sure that the system and any optional
devices are turned on.
v Use the troubleshooting information in your system documentation available
on the ThinkServer Documentation DVD that comes with your system.
v Go to the Lenovo support Web site at http://www.lenovo.com/support to
check for updated information, new device drivers, and hints and tips.
v Have the following information available:
– Machine type and model
– Serial numbers of your hardware products
– Description of the problem
– Exact wording of any error messages
– Hardware and software configuration information
Calling for service
During the warranty period, you can get help and information by telephone
through the Customer Support Center.

Trained personnel are available to assist you with determining a
hardware problem and deciding what action is necessary to fix the
problem.
