TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible Solution
Air purifier does not turn on, or shuts o
unexpectedly.
Make sure the purifier is plugged into a powered electrical outlet.
Make sure the power outlet is working. Try plugging the cord into
another outlet.
Unplug the power cord, and check the cord to see if it is damaged.
If you find damage, immediately stop using the purifier and contact
Customer Support (page 12).
If the problem continues, stop using the purifier and contact
Customer Support (page 12).
Airflow is reduced significantly. Make sure the filters are removed from their packaging.
The fan speed may be too low. Turn the control dial to the 2 or 3
setting.
The filters may be dirty. Check to see if the filters need to be
replaced (see When Should I Replace the Filters?, page 8).
Make sure there is at least 38 cm (15 inches) of clearance on all sides
of the purifier.
If the airflow is still too low, contact Customer Support (page 12).
Air purifier makes an unusual noise while
turned on.
Make sure the filters are properly in place (see Getting Started,
page 6).
The purifier may be defective or damaged. Immediately stop using
the air purifier and contact Customer Support (page 12).
DO NOT try to open the purifier housing.
