Troubleshooting
In many cases small defects can lead to a malfunc-
tion. You will usually be able to deal with these your-
self. Please refer to the table below before contact-
ing your local vendor. This may save you a lot of
effort and quite often money.
If you are unable to eliminate the error yourself,
please contact your local vendor directly. Please
remember that repairs carried out by non-profes-
sionals will invalidate your warranty claim and may
cause additional costs.
Disposal
Disposal of the appliance
Appliances which are labelled with the adja-
cent symbol must not be disposed of in
household waste. You must dispose of such
old electrical and electronic equipment sep-
arately.
Please check with your local authority about the
possibilities for correct disposal.
WARNING! Risk of injury! When using the
cutting head upright, particular care should
be taken. Always maintain sufficient dis-
tance to the cutting thread.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
Avoid contact with solid surfaces to prevent
rapid wear of the thread.
Note: The guide roller(6) only serves for
easier guidance when trimming edges. It
should not be used for brush cutting and
has no influence on the cutting height.
DANGER! Risk of injury! Prior to conduct-
ing maintenance or cleaning: Unplug from
the power source.
Note: Clean unit immediately after every
use. Dried grass remains are very hard, and
are very difficult to remove.
