Replacing the suction head
The felt lter (16) of the suction head can become clogged.
It is recommended to replace the suction head once every
three months in order to ensure unimpeded fuel ow to the
carburetor.
To remove the suction head for replacement, pull it out through
the tank ller neck using a piece of wire bent at one end to
form a hook.
Cleaning the air lter compartment / fan com-
partment
Remove cover.
Remove the fan housing.
CAUTION: To prevent eye injury, always wear eye protec-
tion when cleaning the lter with compressed air!
The entire area (15) can now be brushed clean or cleaned
with compressed air.
Cleaning the cylinder ns
A bottle brush can be used to clean the cylinder ns.
